I have been eating/drinking “Monkey head” mushrooms and all other fungi growing up in Hong Kong. It has been a bit strange seeing these mushrooms stored on the top cabinet of my childhood home in dried form getting viral on the internet nowadays, being sold as powders at such ridiculously high prices. Even now, whenever I return to Hong Kong, I leave half of my luggage free to bring more dried fungi back to Europe.
